Overdiagnosis
Online Physical Therapy Course – 1.75 hours
Welcome to Rehab Learning Center’s 1.75-hour Overdiagnosis, an online Physical Therapy continuing education course. In this course, we detail what overdiagnosis is, as well as what it is not. We will examine the components of overdiagnosis, as well as discuss how each of them individually and collectively contribute to the potential for overdiagnosis. Finally, we discuss strategies that practicing physical therapists can utilize to minimize/eliminate potential overdiagnosis.
This online course is suggested as a partner to our course “Making a Musculoskeletal Diagnosis” but can serve as a “stand-alone” course as well. Both of these courses will serve as valuable precursors to our other musculoskeletal diagnosis courses on various sections of the body.
We believe this information is crucial to understanding musculoskeletal diagnosis. We trust that you will find the material extremely valuable and practical to your physical therapy practice.
